The research group on Enriched Stable Isotopes at the University of Oviedo was founded in 2005 and it is headed by Prof. Dr. Jose Ignacio Garcia Alonso. The group currently consist of 12 members (4 Drs. and 8 PhD Students). The main research interest is the development of reagents, analytical methodologies and calculation procedures based on the use of enriched stable isotopes in combination with Mass Spectrometry for environmental and biomedical applications. The research lines of the group are focused on further developments in Metrology in Chemistry.
NEW: The book on "Isotope Dilution Mass Spectrometry" has been published (Royal Society of Chemistry). Download the "Isotope Distribution Calculator" (excel file) in the publications section.
